Based on the hit TV series, SMASH is the ultimate musical-lover's musical. Get ready for all the backstage pandemonium that brings a team of theatrical big shots to its knees heading to the opening night of Bombshell, a splashy new show about Marilyn Monroe. It's a rollercoaster ride filled with hilarious setbacks, wild surprises, kick-ass production numbers and iconic songs like “Let Me Be Your Star,” “Don’t Forget Me, “They Just Keep Moving the Line,” and many more. Our cast is stacked, because who better to play Broadway A-listers than actual Broadway A-listers? We’ve got veterans and Tony Award® nominees including Robyn Hurder, Brooks Ashmanskas, Krysta Rodriguez, John Behlmann, Kristine Nielsen, and Jacqueline B. Arnold, to name just a few. SMASH is produced by Robert Greenblatt, Neil Meron and Steven Spielberg. The production is helmed by five-time Tony winner Susan Stroman (The Producers) with a score by the Emmy®-, Grammy®-, and Tony-winning duo Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Some Like It Hot), a book by Tony nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys) and Tony winner Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone, The Prom), and choreography by Tony nominee and Emmy winner Joshua Bergasse (Smash).
